Speed for sport Academy are looking for experienced athletics coaches to work at our club.
Aligning with our mission to improve youth sport across the nation.
We require a level 2 qualifications in Athletics, this will ensure that you can comfortably deliver high-quality sessions at a variety of levels and abilities.
Sports Coach job role:
- Plan delivery of programmes, activities and actions effectively using the speed for sport systems and materials
- Motivating and inspiring children aged from 6yrs upwards
- Engaging and liaising with parents and teachers regarding the progress of their children’s activity and ensure clients receive the best possible service
- Ensure the health and safety of children, clients and team at all times
- Make sure that you, the site and team are compliant with all policies and procedures
- Wear Speed for sport academy uniform which will be provided.
Required experience
- Minimum Coaching 1 year
- Experience working with and coaching children.
- Be well organised and demonstrate leadership skills
- To be able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, always maintain a professional approach to work
- Level 2 in Sports Coaching
- A valid DBS is required (which can be obtained if successful in the role)
- Charismatic, smiley and fantastic interpersonal skills.
- A passion for child development and sport.
Required certifications
- DBS Certificate (issued within the last 3 years)
- Minimum First Aid Certificate
- UK Athletics Coach Licence.
